Rekorderlig Cider was first brewed, with the purest spring water, in Vimmerby, Sweden in 1999, by Abro Bryggeri. It is in fact still brewed there today and is a much loved, fourth family generation brewed cider.
Although it started from humble beginnings, Rekorderlig continues to grow and launch in new countries whilst still keeping its proud Swedish heritage.
At its core Rekorderlig is based on three words…Taste, Taste and Taste! Rekorderlig is a semi-sweet, totally refreshing cider made from 100% European apples or pears. These are crushed at their freshest to retain their best possible flavour. Rekorderlig is not made from a syrup or from concentrate. Rekorderlig is a premium cider which is set apart from the rest. It is certainly refreshingly different.
Three flavours are currently available in South Africa, namely:
*Strawberry-Lime, made from the purest Swedish spring water, this is a unique flavour combination. Serve over ice with mint leaves or strawberries and a wedge of lime for a fresh, zesty experience.
*Wild Berries, bursting with the freshest fruit flavours Rekorderlig Wild berries Cider is best served over ice for a juicy experience.
*Pear, again made using only the purest Swedish spring water, Rekorderlig pear Cider is best served over ice with a wedge of zesty lemon or Orange wheel for a distinctively crisp experience.
